Easy and quick matcha Christmas tree chocolates
You’ll need:
- 2 white chocolate bars
- Matcha powder (to taste), we used about 3 grams of our Organic Culinary Japan
- Optional: pretzels + any toppings you like (sprinkles, crushed candy canes, nuts, etc.)
How to make:
1. Break one white chocolate bar into its little squares.
2. Chop each square into triangle shapes to look like Christmas trees and et aside.
3. Take all the chopped-off bits plus the second white chocolate bar and melt them gently (microwave in short bursts or au bain marie).
4. Stir in matcha powder until you get a nice green colour and smooth texture.
5. Dip the chocolate triangles into the matcha chocolate and place on baking paper to cool.I also dipped some pretzels at this stage
6. Once everything has set, melt the leftover matcha chocolate again and pour it into a small bag (a freezer bag works!), cut off a tiny corner, and drizzle over the chocolates.
7. Add toppings if you want, let them cool completely, and voila! you’re done
